In order to be able to stand the training you need more than your enthusiasm for flying. Apart from your enthusiasm the following formalities has to be taken care of:

1. You need a Class II flight medical qualifying certificate. We can tell you the addresses of possible examination places.

2. Request a police certificate of conduct at your responsible residents registration office (Einwohnermeldeamt).

3. Information from the central traffic register (Verkehrszentralregister) is necessary. Eine Auskunft aus dem Verkehrszentralregister ist erforderlich. You can get the request forms from Kraftfahrtbundesamt.

4. Proof of participation in the training course "Immediate measures at the incident place" (Sofortmaßnahmen am Unfallort). We can also tell you the addresses of the training centers for this course.

5. 1 passport picture

6. Declaration of consent of the entitled parent, if the applicant under 18 years of age.

7. Copy of the passport or identification card (Personalausweis).

8. It is also necessary to request a reliability examination at the responsible aviation authority (Luftfahrtbehörde).

If you are already in possession of a pilot license a photo copy of the license is sufficient.

The theoretical and practical training is accomplished in parallel, so that you can always apply and examine the learned knowledge in both areas.
